How Much Longer Will Earth Hold Our Population?

Our world population is a colossal problem. It's such a colossal problem that we have 7.9 billion people on Earth! I don't know why or how this number has grown so rapidly since the 1900's. I found a few charts showing how much the population has grown of the years. I just used the key words 'World population chart by year' and clicked on images. The world population was only 1 billion in 1820, and by 1960 it was already at 3 billion! 

Did you know that Earth is only supposed to sustain 2 billion people? Yet we are stretching it nearly to the breaking point! Scientists expect that at 10 billion people, our population will be too high and there will too much of a fight for resources that humans could possibly even die out! It could be the end of the world as we know it! We are way over the limit and it's not okay! The popularity on earth needs to lower, but this isn't a sign to go killing people! 

Every second 1.8 people die and 4.3 people are born. This mean that every second the popularity rises by 2.5 people! It might not seem like much, but it all adds up. If the population keep growing at this rate, we won't ever be able to fix it again and bring it back down to 2 billion! Eventually, sometime in the far future, we will probably find out how to make us invincible and then the population will only go up! 

Because of this growing population, we also need more home, which means that this is a cause of deforestation because of all the extra space we need to clear for more homes. It is also linked to mass extinction since we're creating lots of habitat loss for the animals. 

I can't think of many solutions, because killing people is not an option in any way, but I have one slight suggestion. 

  • Before you have a child, consider whether it's really a great idea and if you're ready. Lots of people have children before they're ready and then you're adding to the population before you realize it. It would be better to become a parent when you're a little older and have more experience and know when you're ready. Maybe the population will not grow as rapidly if we all think harder before we act. 
Before I go, I just want to say that in no way is this a sign to kill people! I am not encouraging murder in any way whatsoever! Please don't do something like that. I have only one solution and that is all.

Climate Change is Caused by 4% of the Ozone Layer Being Gone!

Have you noticed how weird the weather has been lately? Some days it's super warm and the next you're a human icicle? This is because of climate change, which is caused by the ozone layer, which keeps certain temperatures out of our atmosphere, being ripped. Since it's ripped, we get extra hot air from the sun and extra cold air from space.  We need to fix the rip so that climate change stops. Women Rights Are Human Rights!

Did you know that women still don't have the same rights as men? That's right! The first time women were allowed to vote was in 1893 in New Zealand! The first time in Canada was 1918, 103 years ago! But women's rights are human rights, so that shouldn't have been okay. Women should have the same rights as men.  But, luckily, we have made progress. Now women are allowed to work and vote. In 1919 women were allowed to hold office in the Canadian Parliament. Though we have made lots of progress, there is still a ways to go.
